Course Description

Earn & Learn Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)

This is a 4-week in-person Job Readiness and Career Exploration training course for 14 and 15-year-old students. The training will consist of Workplace Essentials, Microsoft Digital Literacy, and Atlanta Technical College Academic Programs Career Exploration Presentations. 

The training will be held in Building G Digital classroom located on the campus of Atlanta Technical College, 1560 Metropolitan Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30310.    

Class hours 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (1-hour lunch) Monday through Thursday. You will be paid a $200 a week stipend for your classroom attendance.

 

Prerequisites

Youth ages 14- 16 must register for the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) through the City of Atlanta.
